After sharpening his attack on President Trump, Joe Biden turned his fire on 2020 rival Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who has taken a slight national lead in the Democratic primary contest.
“We’re not electing a planner,” the former vice president said in New Hampshire on Wednesday. “I’ve been there. I know what it takes to get it done.”

Warren’s catchphrase for her own White House bid has become “I have a plan for that” after releasing a slew of policy proposals, most of which aim at anti-corruption measures. She has yet to release her own healthcare framework.
Biden’s swipe at Warren comes after her surge in the polls to lead the former front-runner by an average of 0.2 percentage points, according to RealClearPolitics data. It also previews expected clashes between the pair at next week’s October debate in Westerville, Ohio.
Reading from a teleprompter in Manchester, Biden told the crowd Wednesday he had planned to stick with his usual stump speech, but Trump’s behavior warranted a different address.
Earlier during a rally at Rochester, Biden called for Trump’s impeachment.
“Donald Trump has violated his oath of office, betrayed this nation, and committed impeachable acts,” he said, referring to the president’s suggestion Ukraine and China interfere in U.S. elections. “To preserve our Constitution, our democracy, our basic integrity, he should be impeached.”
