Most Googled question on Jeb: ‘Is Jeb Bush still running for President?’

In the run-up to tonight’s debate hosted by Fox Business, Google Trends finds that the most searched question about former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is, “Is Jeb Bush still running for President?”

Bush’s poll numbers have dropped since the second debate and relaunched his struggling campaign in early November. He currently sits in fifth place in the RealClearPolitics average of national polls at 6 percent, and sixth on the Washington Examiner‘s presidential power rankings.

The most-asked question on Google searched about Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is, “Why do Republicans hate Ted Cruz?”, followed by “Was Ted Cruz born in Canada?”

Other data show that billionaire businessman Donald Trump is the most searched presidential candidate in 49 of 50 states, as well as the District of Columbia. The only one that slipped Trump’s grasp is Vermont, where residents spent the most time looking up Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Trump is the most searched Republican candidate, followed by former neurosurgeon Ben Carson, Sen. Marco Rubio, Bush and Cruz.

The top question asked about both of Tuesday night’s debate moderators, Neil Cavuto and Maria Bartiromo, is: how old are they? The second most searched question about Bartiromo asks whether or not she is married.

When it comes to the issues, the abortion is the top searched topic for Carson, Carly Fiorina, and former Gov. Mike Huckabee. Immigration is the most searched issue for Bush, Cruz, Govs. John Kasich and Bobby Jindal, Rubio and Trump.
