Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton, D-D.C., fresh from her fourth appearance on Comedy Central’s “The Colbert Report,” said she’ll hold hearings to make sure the Smithsonian Institution doesn’t begin charging admission. The Smithsonian is expected to charge $5 to get into the new Butterfly Pavilion, the first time the museum would charge admission in its 160-year history. Norton blames Congress for chronically underfunding the Smithsonian.
