While the Democratic National Committee warns darkly of the “swarm” of “anti-reform” lobbyists, it’s worth recalling the much larger swarm of pro-“reform” lobbyists — that is, the companies that will soon be pocketing your tax dollars if this bill becomes law.
Below is the latest ad sponsored by Americans for Stable Quality Care, a group primarily funded by the Pharmaceutical Researchers and Manufacturers of America, the largest single-industry lobby in America.
The bill is so loaded up with favors for the drug industry, and top drug lobbyist Billy Tauzin had such a central role in drafting it, that instead of ObamaCare, I call it BillyCare.
