Gunman targeting Reston banks

Police are asking the public to help identify a suspect in two armed bank robberies in the past week.

The first occurred Oct. 21 at the Presidential Bank at 1675 Reston Parkway; the second was Tuesday at Capitol One Bank, 9883 Georgetown Pike. Detectives said the man might also be responsible for a similar robbery in Loudoun County on Oct. 6.

The robber was described as a white male in his late 20s. He was about 5 feet 8 inches and weighed 165 pounds. He wore a black work jacket, black gloves, and black sunglasses.
