D.C. United’s home match against the Houston Dynamo was postponed for a second time Tuesday afternoon and will beplayed tonight at 7:30. All tickets from the game’s original June 4 date or July 22 makeup date will be honored.
The match’s most recent postponement was caused by power outages in Southeast Washington that affected RFK Stadium on Tuesday, according to D.C. United spokesman Doug Hicks.
The match originally was scheduled for June 4, but was abandoned less than 20 minutes into the first half due to heavy rain.
The power outage is also the second of its kind at RFK Stadium this month. During the second half of United’s July 12 match against CD Guadalajara, play was delayed for 20 minutes when a number of the stadium lights went out.
