Man charged with robbery of DC bank

Authorities have arrested a man wanted in connection with a bank robbery last month in downtown D.C., Metropolitan Police Department said Saturday.

Police charged Bryan Keith Wright, 40, of Clinton, Md., with robbery after his arrest Wednesday in Triangle, Va., near Quantico.

The case stems from the Dec. 9 robbery of a United Bank branch on Eye Street NW near 19th Street, when a man gave a teller a note and left with an undisclosed amount of money. Authorities later got a tip leading them to the suspect.
