Beatles tribute benefits cancer patients

Hosted by Maynard Edwards of the Ed Norris show, “Come Together: The 2nd Annual Tribute to the Beatles” is a holiday celebration featuring the music of the Beatles performed by some of the best musicians in the region. Performers include The Cheaters, Flipside, Beretta Jane, Ballyhoo!, The Hint, Bagshots, Dave Hill and the Come Together Band, Brickfoot, Pasadena and more.

All proceeds from the ticket sales will support childhood cancer research at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center. One of only 41 cancer centers in the country designated by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) as a Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Kimmel Cancer Center has active programs in clinical research, laboratory research, education, community outreach, and prevention and control. The Center also encompasses a wide spectrum of specialty programs for both adults and children coping with cancer, including bone marrow transplantation and new drug development.
