Lady Gaga’s father signaled his support for President Trump after the incumbent candidate slammed the pop star earlier this week over her support for Joe Biden.

“@realDonaldTrump,” Joe Germanotta simply said in a tweet sent after 9 p.m., which appears to have since been deleted.

“You may have noticed my political and spiritual beliefs are different. Liberty and freedom of choice would not be political,” he said in another tweet an hour later, which also appears to have been deleted.

Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, has been an outspoken supporter of Biden.

The A Star is Born actress joined a Biden campaign event in Pennsylvania on Monday, telling residents to “vote like your life depends on it.”

“We all know this thing may come down to Pennsylvania. We need you. We need your family. We need your friends. We need your heart. Vote like your life depends on it. Vote like your children’s lives depend on it. Because they do,” she told the crowd.

Trump hit back at the pop star’s support for Biden while on the campaign trail in Scranton on Monday.

“He’s got Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga; I could tell you plenty of stories. I could tell you stories about Lady Gaga. I know a lot of stories,” Trump said.

Joe Germanotta owns a restaurant in New York City and has previously spoken out against Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill de Blasio’s coronavirus plans regarding restaurants in the state.
