Delaware State police say two 15-year-old Maryland girls were caught taking off their clothes at a movie theater and snapping pictures of themselves with cell phones.
Cpl. Jeff Whitmarsh says a surveillance video worker at the Midway Movies in Lewes spotted the girls Friday night in a hallway taking off their clothes and taking pictures of themselves. He says several patrons walking by also witnessed the incident.
Troopers arrested the two girls from Chesapeake Beach, Md., charged them with disorderly conduct and contacted their parents.
Whitmarsh says the girls planned to send the photos to their friends.
He says the incident may seem silly, but parents should talk to their children about the dangers of sending digital images since once one is sent, they don’t have control over how it is used.
