Biden called Rupert Murdoch ‘the most dangerous man in the world’: Book

President Joe Biden called Fox Corporation patriarch Rupert Murdoch “the most dangerous man in the world,” according to a new book by two New York Times reporters.

The remark was made to an associate in 2021 as Biden described Fox News as “one of the most destructive forces in the United States,” according to excerpts of This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America’s Future.

The book, set to release on May 3, provides a “definitive account of the 2020 election and the first year of the Biden presidency,” according to a description. The excerpts were reported Monday by CNN. Neither the White House nor Fox News has commented on the report as of press time.

While CNN notes the president has not publicly spoken about Murdoch and his son, Fox Corp. CEO Lachlan Murdoch, Biden has regularly sparred with Fox News reporters over their line of questioning and coverage of his administration. In January, the president was caught on a hot mic calling Fox News’s Peter Doocy “a stupid son of a b****” for asking a question about inflation.
