On this day, Feb. 18, 1983, 13 people were killed in the Wah Mee Massacre.

The Wah Mee was a Seattle speakeasy that hosted high-stakes gambling behind a series of locked doors.

Before midnight, Willie Mak, Benjamin Ng and Tony Ng were let into the club, hog-tied 14 victims and shot them all.

One man, Wai Chin, survived. His testimony helped put away the suspects during three high-profile trials.

Mak and Benjamin Ng got life. Tony Ng was acquitted of murder but convicted of 13 counts of robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. He is eligible for parole in 2010.
