Trump tombstone appears in Central Park

A tombstone with Donald Trump’s name engraved on it was found in New York City’s Central Park over the weekend by someone hoping to bury the Republican front-runner’s presidential aspirations.

The large, granite tombstone was reportedly found near the Tavern on the Green, a restaurant located in the middle of the park, and included the billionaire’s year of birth (1946), with no date of death.

Photographs posted to social media show the words “Make America Hate Again” inscribed on the front of the tombstone — a play on Trump’s campaign slogan frequently chanted by protesters at his rallies.

Groundskeepers removed the tombstone Sunday evening and officials have yet to determine who placed it in the iconic urban park, which is located just blocks away from Trump Tower in Manhattan.

A spokeswoman for the Trump campaign could not be reached for comment.
