Marco Rubio doesn’t want people to have to get their news ‘from a translator on Univision’

As the CNN debate delved into immigration, Marco Rubio had a chance to talk about his family influence. He spoke of his grandfather.

While Rubio’s grandfather spoke mostly in Spanish, he explained, he also became a conservative. And while he “instilled” in him that he “felt blessed,” he taught him in Spanish. That’s what he was most comfortable with.

Rubio believes that “limited government and free enterprise helps people.” If people get their news in Spanish, Rubio wants them to be able to get it in Spanish, “rather than a translator on Univision.”
