The Tea Party-aligned politician has criticized the New York businessman throughout his 11-month campaign. Trump, who understood Sasse’s concerns to be critiques, pushed back Wednesday, saying comments from Sasse and others embraced a “a level of hatred [that] was incredible.”
Sasse responded with five questions for Trump, reiterating questions he has asked in previous Twitter rants.
