WATCH: Protesters harass RNC attendees leaving Trump speech at White House

A throng of protesters swarmed attendees of President Trump’s acceptance speech at the White House to end the Republican National Convention on Thursday night.

Videos circulating on social media show people leaving the grounds being approached by protesters screaming obscenities, flipping them off, and asking them how they feel about black people being killed by police in the country.

Among those harassed were Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul and Florida Rep. Brian Mast, who was repeatedly asked about his stance on Black Lives Matter.

Protesters also confronted police, and one white female protester called a black officer a “traitor” and an “Uncle Tom.”

A man and his wife leaving the speech were also confronted by protesters with one woman screaming at them and threatening that she would “f— them up” if he tried to touch her.

Paul said he regretted making the decision to walk outside with his wife after the speech and feared that they would’ve been pummeled by protesters if it hadn’t been for police.

“I regret that I made this decision, but I said we’ll walk the two blocks,” Paul said Friday on Fox and Friends. “We walked one block, but as we walked one block, we could see some police in the distance, but we also saw a mob of about 30 people marching and yelling. They all of a sudden saw me, right as we got to the police, fortunately, or I don’t think we would have survived.”

The Kentucky Republican said the crowd was larger than 100 protesters, and some shouted profanities and threats at him and his wife.

The renewed unrest that followed the shooting of Jacob Blake by police in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The shooting on Sunday night came only months after the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis, which sparked protests across the country calling for an end to racial injustice and police brutality.
