Obama: Odds are, I’ll get re-elected

I just have to remind people that here’s one thing I know for certain: The odds of me being reelected are much higher than the odds of me being elected in the first place.” President Obama told donors last night at a fundraiser.

Does he mean before or after beating Hillary Clinton in the primary? Back when Obama first ran, his candidacy was anything but certain and he barely eked out a win against Clinton.

By the time he ran against John McCain in the general election, it was more likely that Obama would be the eventual winner.

With today’s low approval ratings and less than favorable media reports, its hard to believe that President Obama will earn reelection, but once he returns to the campaign trail, look for a comeback.
