On Tuesday night, the House of Representatives voted to increase the debt ceiling in exchange for cutting, capping, and balancing the out of control spending that has left us $14.5 trillion in debt. In marked contrast, the Senate has not voted to increase the debt ceiling, and President Obama has not proposed legislation that would do so — as (in the spirit of Obamacare) both the president and the Senate have been long on secrecy and back-room dealings involving a select few.
