The White House said Tuesday that Donald Trump’s statements from a leaked 2005 video constituted sexual assault.
White House spokesman Josh Earnest said aboard Air Force One that there was a “broad consensus” that his statements described sexual assault. In the video, Trump said he is attracted to beautiful women and said he starts kissing them, and more, when he sees them.
“Grab them by the pussy,” Trump said. “You can do anything.”
Earnest said President Obama believes the video from last week showing Donald Trump making lewd comments about women was “repugnant.”
“The president found the tape as repugnant as most Americans did,” he said.
