Philadelphia Teacher bullies student for wearing Romney t-shirt

A teacher in a Philadelphia high school allegedly tried to force one of her students to take off a Romney campaign t-shirt, according to All American Blogger Dwayne Bodhi. The teacher reportedly compared the t-shirt to a Klu Klux Klan sheet and tried to dismiss the 16-year-old student out of class when she refused to remove the t-shirt.

The Charles Carroll High School teacher explained to the student that the school was a “Democratic school.” She even told the young student that she would cross out Romney’s name on the t-shirt with a marker.

In response to reports, Philadelphia School District spokesman Fernando Gallard told Philly.com, “a teacher made some comments to a student wearing a Romney t-shirt in their classroom.”

He continued, “The comments were of a political nature, and also of a personal nature.” Moreover, he told the newspaper that the student was not violating school dress code in any way by wearing the t-shirt in support of the Romney campaign.

Apparently, students are not the only bullies walking the halls of America’s schools.
