The Trump campaign has found a new way to troll liberal opponents.
“Liberal paper straws don’t work,” reads the blurb on the online store for a packet of 10 straws, labeled as “Made in the USA.”
The Donald J. Trump store says the red straws are laser engraved with the Trump logo.
Single-use straws have become a key target of conservationists concerned about the rising tide of plastic polluting the environment, particularly marine habitats.

At least eight million tons of plastic end up in the oceans each year, according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature. Much of that comes from single-use items such as plastic bags, disposable cups, and straws.
It all helped turn straws into public enemy No. 1: banned or strictly limited by a string of cities, the state of California, and companies such as Starbucks.
Since then, there has been a backlash as experts suggested that avoiding plastic straws might salve consumers’ consciences but would have a limited impact on cleaning up the oceans.
Either way, Trump supporters can make their point with a 10-pack of red straws for $15, a significant mark-up on a product that might otherwise be sold at $10 for 1000.
The offering sparked amusement on Twitter, where users suggested it would now be possible to blame the president for any dead turtles washed ashore with a tell-tale straw in its belly.

While others suggested the lib-baiting did not go far enough, given that the sales pitch suggested the product could be recycled.
“STAND WITH PRESIDENT TRUMP and buy your pack of recyclable straws today,” said the site.
