A Brooklyn precinct has been reportedly overrun by New York City protesters hitting the streets outraged over the death of Minneapolis man George Floyd earlier this week.
City Police Commissioner Dermot Shea called a Level 3 mobilization as the 88th Precinct in Brooklyn was overrun. The mobilization would require all special units to respond and four cars from every command in the city to the location.
The 84th Precinct is also under siege as well as Brooklyn North, according to a CNN report.
A police van had also been set ablaze, and radio reports allegedly said there was an officer down. Emergency personnel were called.
