Two of America’s noteworthy “silver foxes” were spotted at Westend Bistro on Thursday night. The first: celebrity chef Eric Ripert, the man behind the restaurant, was roaming the dining room and filming a kitchen documentary with new Chef de Cuisine Joe Palma. The second: Bill Clinton, rushing through the restaurant as he was mobbed by Secret Service. The two men were like silver ships passing in the night, getting a glimpse but never meeting.
And “That ’70s Show” star Wilmer Valderrama was at 1223 nightclub Saturday night, as part of BlackBerry’s “Luxe Club” series of promotion events. The Venezuelan-born actor just signed on to play Ponch in an upcoming film based on the “CHiPs” TV show from … the ’70s.
