ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — An online video supporting the Republican candidate for governor in New York urged viewers to mark the 70th anniversary of D-Day on Friday by contributing money to defeat Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo, whom the ad called a tyrant.
The video features photos of American soldiers storming the Normandy beaches as well as photos of the Republican candidate, Rob Astorino, who’s the Westchester County executive. Photos of Cuomo were accompanied by text declaring a “solemn obligation” to “remove tyrants.”
