Foiled again by Facebook

A 20-year-old Kentucky man was arrested after he siphoned gas from a police cruiser and posted a photo of the theft on Facebook.

Michael Baker posted the picture of him in the act and making an obscene gesture online, and it went viral. Police in Jenkins, Ky., started investigating.

Baker said it was meant to be a joke.

“I mean, if we was going to steal gas, we wouldn’t put it nationwide on Facebook,” Baker told radio station WYMT. “We don’t steal anyway, but we’re sorry.”

A Utah man is in jail for accepting drugs as payment from a 17-year-old for a tattoo that an investigator described as the worst body art he has ever seen.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports the 23-year-old Eagle Mountain man was charged with felony child endangerment and unlawfully tattooing a minor. Police said the man, who wasn’t employed by a tattoo parlor, offered the tattoo to the teen in exchange for drugs and medication. The investigator could not determine what the tattoo was supposed to depict.

I’m not lovin’ it

Greenville County, S.C., deputies say a McDonald’s employee was caught on video spitting in two customers’ cups of iced tea after the drinks were returned because they weren’t sweet enough.

Marvin Washington Jr., 19, was arrested Wednesday and charged with malicious tampering with food.

Authorities say the customers discovered phlegm when they removed the lids of the drinks to add more sugar because the iced tea still was not sweet enough.
