Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden seems to be in the clear after a coronavirus scare, testing negative for COVID-19 a second time since President Trump contracted the virus.

Biden took a PCR test Sunday, and it didn’t detect COVID-19, according to his campaign. His team didn’t answer pool reporter questions pressing aides on whether he took just one test and for more information regarding his last negative result before that.

Biden tested negative twice before flying to Michigan on Friday after Trump tweeted that he and first lady Melania Trump had COVID-19 that morning. Top White House adviser Hope Hicks returned a positive result for the virus on Wednesday, prompting concerns about the president.

There was speculation Biden, 77, had been exposed to COVID-19 since he shared a stage for more than 90 minutes with Trump last Tuesday during their first debate in Cleveland. Hicks was also present, one of many unmasked audience members gathered in the indoor venue.

The Biden campaign has promised to be transparent about the nominee’s daily COVID-19 tests after the White House outbreak, which has spilled over to Congress following Trump unveiling Supreme Court pick Judge Amy Coney Barrett in a Rose Garden ceremony last weekend. But he and his camp didn’t respond to queries Saturday about his results before he walked into a church for a service that night.

Biden is expected to travel to Miami on Monday. There he’ll visit the city’s Little Haiti Cultural Center before delivering remarks in Little Havana and taking part in an NBC town hall during the evening.
