Baltimore’s Brass Elephant scores award-wining chef

Chef Andrew Maggitti recently returned to Baltimore to prepare hand-made pastas and a wide variety of creations such as honey and thyme glazed duo of Colorado lamb, pan roasted “maple leaf” duck breast, seafood pescatore pasta and parmesan crusted rockfish at The Brass Elephant in Mount Vernon.

Maggitti is a certified executive chef, winning numerous awards including National Champion and Gold Medal at the Certified Angus Beef Competition, Winner of the Bocuse d?Or USA Concours for Best Fish Platter and winner of the Bocuse d?Or USA Concours for Best Chicken Platter.

Maggitti began his career at the Chestnut Ridge Country Club and Harbor Court Hotel in the early nineties before serving as the executive chef at the exclusive Briar Club in Houston.
