Police are searching for a man who allegedly bludgeoned his wife and daughter with a hammer and fled their Fairfax City home.
Warrants for malicious wounding have been obtained for Mouloud Mouloua, 51, who allegedly struck the 41-year-old-woman and 17-year-old girl early Wednesday morning at their residence on Fairhaven Court, according to the Fairfax City Police Department. Both the wife and daughter suffered severe trauma to the upper body.
A third victim was also involved, said police spokesman Jeff Morrison. One of the victims was listed in critical condition, though Morrison would not specify which.
Mouloua is described as white, 6 feet tall, weighing about 180 pounds, with strawberry blond hair and green eyes. Police believe he is driving a green 1995 Mercury Sable with Virginia tags YTG-1302.
