Who will Donald Trump choose as his VP? [VIDEO]

Now that he is the presumptive nominee, all eyes are focused on who Donald Trump will pick as his running mate.

With Trump’s celebrity status and his supporter base, Jimmy Kimmel suggested Trump could hold a reality show to pick the candidate. Vice President Island will feature “20 amazing Trump supporters.” Instead of his tagline of “you’re fired” from The Apprentice, Trump will send candidates home with “you’re impeached.”

The show would come out “this summer on every cable news channel.”

Kimmel has suggested a similar program before, with Trumpus Room. The show, modeled after Big Brother, would feature endorses Aaron Carter, Dennis Rodman, Jesse Ventura, Wayne Newton, Willie Robertson, Mike Tyson, Tila Tequila, and Gary Busey to compete for the coveted role.

Unfortunately for Chris Christie, he would just get to host.

The program’s set-up may mirror reality. Christie told Jimmy Fallon last month that he doubts he would be chosen as a running mate. Kimmel also noted that Christie may help choose the vice presidential candidate, along with fellow Trump endorser Ben Carson.

Trump told Wolf Blitzer that he would consider John Kasich to help him win Ohio, the one state which Kasich won during the primary. As the last to suspend his campaign, Kasich had fewer delegates than Marco Rubio, who dropped out five weeks prior.

Early favorites, according to CNN, include New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez, South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley and Senator Rob Portman, also of Ohio. None expressed interest.

While Trump acknowledged many people would like to see him choose Ivanka Trump as a running mate, he noted “it won’t happen.”
