Two more women accused Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson of sexual misconduct.
The women filed lawsuits separately on Tuesday, bringing the total number of accusers to 21. Both women, identified as “Jane Doe” in the suits, work as massage therapists and advertise their services on social media. Watson has denied the allegations.
Both women described similar situations, with Watson allegedly contacting them for their services and then making sexual advances toward them. One of the lawsuits claimed that Watson got completely naked, ignored the woman’s request to cover himself, and asked that she “massage the area immediately around his anus,” according to NBC News.
There were four meetings between one of the women and Watson, and during the final session, he forced her to perform oral sex on him, the lawsuit claimed. The quarterback knew the masseuse had financial troubles and used that “to his advantage in an effort to manipulate her,” according to the lawsuit.

The other lawsuit was filed on behalf of an Arizona woman who alleged that Watson contacted her for a Swedish massage in July 2020 and that during the first session, he made a sexual request of her, but she refused.
“When Plaintiff responded no again, defendant Watson realized that Plaintiff was not going to entertain his sexual advances, and stated that the massage was done,” the lawsuit stated.
Both lawsuits were filed by lawyer Anthony Buzbee, who is representing the other accusers.
“These Deshaun Watson cases continue to mount; we filed two more public cases today,” Buzbee wrote Tuesday on social media. “Our team has been roundly criticized because these numerous brave women haven’t filed formal criminal complaints with HPD (although we have provided info to other organizations.).”
Watson’s lawyer, Rusty Hardin, released a statement on Thursday accusing the opposing counsel of having “orchestrated a circus-like atmosphere by using social media to publicize 14 ‘Jane Doe’ lawsuits during the past seven days in a manner calculated to inflame the public and malign Deshaun’s otherwise sterling reputation.”

“I believe that any allegation that Deshaun forced a woman to commit a sexual act is completely false,” Hardin added. “And in the one case in which we have been able to identify a plaintiff, we have strong evidence showing the allegation is false. In January of this year, a woman attempted to blackmail Deshaun by demanding $30,000 in exchange for her ‘indefinite silence’ about what she stated was a consensual encounter.”
The NFL is reviewing the matter.
