You would have thought Republicans flipped Al Sharpton off.
The MSNBC host was so mad at Republicans during an episode of “PoliticsNation” Thursday night that he literally flipped his show upside down to protest them.
Specifically, Sharpton complained about the fact that Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) — who has openly expressed his skepticism about climate change — is slated to become chair of the Environment and Public Works Committee.
“D.C.’s biggest climate change denier is now in charge of the committee of the environment?” Sharpton said. “Wait, I get it now. The GOP is playing opposites. Hey, I can play too!”
With the snap of his fingers, Sharpton’s feet were on the top of television screens across America (unless, of course, viewers had already changed the channel).
“See, opposites,” he continued. “Up is down and left is right. I love opposite day. I’ll sleep in late, wear blue jeans and maybe even eat a cheeseburger. It’ll be a great day. But, until then, did Republicans think we wouldn’t notice they’re fooling the American people with their opposite day games? Nice try, but we gotcha.”
Quick, somebody flip him back over before the blood rushes to his head and causes him to say something stupid. Oh, wait.
