Freshman Sen. Joni Ernst now has the tools to quite literally keep her campaign promises.
Ernst gained national attention during the election when she ran a campaign ad comparing her background on a hog farm to her future in the Senate.
“I grew up castrating hogs on an Iowa farm. So when I get to Washington, I’ll know how to cut pork,” she said. She added that she wanted to “make them [D.C. big spenders] squeal.”
To welcome her to the Senate, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R – S.C.) brought Ernst the perfect gift — a livestock castration device.

And just in case you’ve forgotten how she might use them…
