Howard County officials will break ground on the first phase ofconnecting Route 175 to Dorsey Run Road.
The nine-month project will provide new business opportunities while diverting truck traffic off Route 1.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at the end of Dorsey Run Road near Jessup. Among those attending the event will be County Executive Ken Ulman, Public Works Director Jim Irvin and council members Calvin Ball, D-District 2, Greg Fox, R-District 5, and Jennifer Terrasa, D-District 3.
