A Metrobus and school bus crashed into each other Wednesday afternoon, sending six people to the hospital.
None were children.
The crash happened between an X2 bus and the school bus around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Benning Road and 17th Street in Northeast D.C., according to Metro.
Five people on the Metrobus and driver’s aide from the school bus were taken to local hospitals, said D.C. Fire and EMS spokesman Pete Piringer, but none had serious injuries.
It was not immediately clear what school district the bus was from.
