RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Virginia Commonwealth University’s governing board has named a new rector.
Richmond periodontist John Doswell began his term Sunday as head of the Board of Visitors. He succeeds Thomas G. Snead Jr.
Doswell has served on the Board of Visitors since 2003. He also has served on the executive committee, as well as vice rector and secretary.
He graduated from the VCU School of Dentistry in 1979.
