Republican front-runner and real estate mogul Donald Trump accused his Democratic counterpart, Hillary Clinton, of abusing women who accused her husband of sexual assault.
Trump has stepped up his attacks on Clinton recently. Responding to Clinton calling him a him of sexist, Trump has cited Bill Clinton’s history of extramarital affairs and allegations that Clinton sexually assaulted several women.
On Saturday Trump went further.
“I hope Bill Clinton starts talking about women’s issues so that voters can see what a hypocrite he is and how Hillary abused those women!” Trump tweeted.

The statement seemed to suggest that Hillary Clinton abused women by helping tarnish the reputations of her husband’s accusers.
It’s a legitimately touchy issue for Hillary, whose past defenses of Bill Clinton dismay some of her staunchest feminist backers.
At a campaign stop in early December, someone who attended a Clinton rally mentioned the former New York senator’s statement that all women who accuse someone of sexual assault should be believed.
“Would you say Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey and Paula Jones deserve to be believed as well,” the woman said.
Jones sued the former president for sexual harassment, Wiley accused him of kissing her while he was president and Broaddrick accused Bill Clinton of raping her when he was governor of Arkansas. All three women have accused Hillary Clinton of working against them after they brought their claims forward.
“Well, I would say they should be believed at first until they are disbelieved based on evidence,” Clinton responded.
