Biden avoids court expansion question once again

Joe Biden once again avoided saying whether or not he was in favor of expanding the Supreme Court during Tuesday’s presidential debate.

With the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, many on the Left have suggested that if Republicans get a nominee through before the election, Democrats would have no choice but to expand the size of the court if they retake control of the Senate in November.

Fox News host and moderator Chris Wallace asked Biden if he would be in support of such a measure.

“Whatever position I take, that will become the issue,” the former vice president responded. “The issue is, the American people should speak. You should go out and vote.”

The president then began to interrupt Biden, saying twice, “Are you going to pack the court?”

“He doesn’t want to answer the question,” President Trump added.

Biden has previously avoided the question, saying that in answering it, he would create a distraction.
