Axelrod: No ‘antibiotic’ for Hillary secrecy

Hillary Rodham Clinton is taking friendly fire from a top Obama advisor Monday for her “unhealthy penchant for privacy.”

David Axelrod tweeted criticism of Clinton and her campaign’s lack of transparency, claiming it causes “unnecessary problems” when just telling the truth would work.

“Antibiotics can take care of pneumonia. What’s the cure for an unhealthy penchant for privacy that repeatedly creates unnecessary problems?” he tweeted.

His tweet came a day after Clinton fell ill during a morning 9/11 ceremony in New York. Only after a video showed her buckling while getting into a van did the campaign say she was suffering from a bout of pneumonia.
