New Fox News Sunday anchor Shannon Bream delivered the goods in her debut.
Bream, the first woman to run the popular newsmagazine show, beat most audience highs for 2022 and attracted 2,100,000 total viewers, 430,000 in the key 25-54 demographic, said Nielsen Media Research.
The numbers also show that those who were either preempted from watching or chose to catch the 9/11 ceremonies last Sunday caught her later. Nielsen said that the broadcast delivered 1,017,000 viewers and cable replays attracted even more, with 1,083,000 viewers.
Overall, her show was up 10% over the 2022 average and 21% over the third quarter.
