NEW YORK — TNT says its hit drama “The Closer” will be closing up shop next year. The network announced the detective series will conclude its run after a seventh season. Production of those final 15 episodes is scheduled to begin next spring.
TNT says the series’ Emmy-winning star, Kyra Sedgwick, decided to conclude the show’s successful run.
