CrossFit suspends accounts, calls Facebook 'utopian socialists'

CrossFit announced on Thursday they have suspended all of their accounts on Facebook and Instagram after the social network “deleted without warning or explanation the Banting7DayMealPlan,” a group dedicated to a diet plan designed “to eat food that is as close to its natural state as possible — free from processing, additives, preservatives and sugar.”

While the group was later reinstated, it was the final straw for CrossFit. The company presented a list of complaints against Facebook as reasons for leaving the platform:
