Baltimore County police charged a man with first-degree murder after they say he crashed a party and was rebuffed.
About 2:30 a.m. Sunday, James Madigan, 26, came to a party at Cheyenne Hoope?s house on King Charles Circle in the White Marsh area, according to police.
Madigan had not been invited, and when Hoope, 27, told him to leave, a fight broke out, and Madiganstabbed her, police said.
Madigan is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
Nine homicides occurred in Baltimore County this year. Police have closed six of those cases.
