WikiLeaks wants President Trump to put its founder Julian Assange in charge of his proposed partnership with Russia to combat “election hacking.”
After Trump tweeted he and Putin discussed forming an “impenetrable Cyber Security unit so that election hacking, & many other negative things, will be guarded and safe,” WikiLeaks responded: “Why not put @JulianAssange in charge of it?”
“He’s trusted by the public and has the CIA’s best stuff anyway,” WikiLeaks continued.

WikiLeaks published emails that were hacked from the Democratic National Committee and John Podesta, who was Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, during the run-up to Election Day.
U.S. intelligence agencies have said Russia is responsible for the hacks, though the country has denied any involvement. WikiLeaks denies it received the emails from Russia.
