Police are asking the public’s help in catching the man who robbed an Alexandria bank last week. Armed with a gun, the robber entered the Virginia Commerce Bank on 7901 Richmond Highway around 11 a.m. June 27. The man passed a note to the teller, demanding money. He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash on foot, but police did not release which direction he fled.
Police released two security camera stills of the robbery, but they said he has not been caught or identified in the past week.
