Earlier this year an African-American fraternity met up with College Republicans to discuss the election of Donald Trump, this ultimately showed what college should be all about: expanding your point of view and learning about others.
That was not the case during a recent “Leftist Alliance” event at West Virginia University. Kaitlynn Critchfield is a member of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), a nonprofit dedicated to promoting free markets and limited government. She, along with other members of her school’s TPUSA chapter, decided to sit-in at one of the “Leftist Alliance” meetings and before the event started, they were quickly noticed and kicked out. But it doesn’t end there.
“We attended the meeting to ask to do a university sanctioned debate event with them but before we were able they told us to ‘get the f— out’ as soon as we walked in because they recognized us from tabling,” Kaitlynn told Red Alert Politics.
From there, things took a turn for the worst.
“We had left and were trying to leave the building. he then pushed me up against a wall and tried wrestling my phone out of my hand screaming that I am a ‘f—— Nazi,’” Kaitlynn said.

It is sad that we have come to a point In this country that people are being physically attacked for their political views, and in this case, just trying to engage in an open discussion with the other side.
