U.S. Secret Service has been notified of a threatening tweet from actor Peter Fonda suggesting Barron Trump should be taken from first lady Melania Trump’s arms and put “in a cage with pedophiles,” a spokeswoman for the first lady said.

Fonda posted the tweet early Wednesday morning, though it appears to have since been deleted.
“We should rip Barron Trump from his mother’s arms and put him in a cage with pedophiles and see if his mother will stand up against the giant asshole she is married to. 90 million people in the streets on the same weekend in the country. Fuck,” tweeted Fonda, brother of actress Jane Fonda and son of late actor Henry Fonda.
Stephanie Grisham, a spokeswoman for the first lady, said the Secret Service has been made aware of the tweet.
“The tweet is sick and irresponsible and USSS has been notified,” she said in a statement to the Washington Examiner.
In addition to criticizing the Trumps, Peter Fonda bashed Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen, calling her a “lying gash that should be put in a cage and poked at by passersby.”

“The gash should be pilloried in Lafayette Square naked and whipped by passersby while being filmed by posterity,” he continued in a tweet.
