“Girls” Actress Lena Dunham Compares Republicans to Nazis

In the latest edition of “liberals say the darndest things,” HBO “Girls” actress Lena Denham, famous for her Obama campaign video comparing voting for Obama to having sex for the first time, has shed the creepy sex metaphor for a more sinister comparison. In an interview with pop culture publication Vulture, Dunham compared Republicans to Nazis.

When asked by Vulture about her “Girls” character Hananh’s decision to date a Republican this season, Dunham replied, “… Hannah doesn’t really have a clear sense of why you shouldn’t date a Republican; it’s kind of just like the same reason why you shouldn’t date a Nazi: You just shouldn’t.”

Dunham went on in the interview to say that she personally doesn’t have a problem dating a Republican, but that does little to soften the harsh blow she dealt to Republicans by comparing them to some of history’s most violent and reckless killers.

In Dunham’s bubble of like-minded liberal counterparts, perhaps she never thought her disgusting and ignorant comments to a culture magazine would see the light of day, especially since her man crush got reelected. But in an age where the world exalts Hollywood actors like royalty, it’s important to expose how they casually compare their political opponents to what is essentially evil at its core.
