FIVE OKLAHOMA POLICE OFFICERS CHARGED WITH MANSLAUGHTER AFTER SHOOTING OF TEENAGER

Police Superintendent David Brown said during a news conference on Sunday that four guns were recovered from the scene, but no one has been taken into custody.

Brown said several witnesses have yet to be interviewed due to their conditions, and detectives are still working on a preliminary investigation.

“We have a lot of work to do,” Brown said. “Detectives are really just getting started.”

He added that the site of the shooting was a garage that houses a towing company and occasionally holds parties and that this particular instance could have been for one such “pop-up party.”

The superintendent said city officials would conduct a “deep dive” look into the property’s history to see if the owner had been cited for past violations.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
