Occupy DC protesters crashed an event at the National Press Club featuring United States Postmaster General (USPS) Patrick Donohoe, who is speaking about the budget crisis at USPS.
The gate-crashers chanted about corporate greed before moving quickly to calling for Donohoe’s job. “Hey-hey, ho-ho, Donohoe has got to go!” they said before security escorted them from the room.
Incidentally, an Occupy DC crowd has a “Labor Tent” with one sign bearing the AFL-CIO website and saying “hands off social security,” and another saying “Save America’s Postal Service.”
