Corey Lewandowski Questions Nothing

Cleveland

Former Donald Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski told THE WEEKLY STANDARD that he questions nothing—at least not when it comes to his ex-boss.

When asked whether he had any questions about Indiana governor Mike Pence, Trump’s vice presidential pick, the campaign manager-turned-CNN commentator grinned.

“I don’t question anything,” Lewandowski, who is still being paid by Trump, told TWS while greeting fans in a bustling hallway of the Cleveland convention arena.

He said that Trump “made a good selection with his VP,” though Lewandowski reportedly advised the businessman to select New Jersey governor Chris Christie. Paul Manafort, Lewandowski’s rival and now Trump’s campaign manager, favored Pence.

Trump fired Lewandowski in June under the guidance of his children.
